Discovery Place
Sharon Butler is a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at SPEAK TO ME KIDS since July 2024, specializing in providing speech therapy to children with various language, articulation, and fluency goals. In addition to this role, Sharon has a diverse background in customer service and education, having worked as a Guest Sales and Reservations representative at Discovery Place since July 2021, and as an English Second Language Tutor at EF Education First and an ESL Teacher at DaDa from October 2020 to August 2024. Previous experiences include serving as an Education Assistant at the Tampa Bay History Center, a Human Resources Assistant at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI), a Front Desk Administrator for the Tampa Bay Lightning, and an Administrative Assistant at The Florida Aquarium. Sharon holds an Associate of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (2022-2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of South Florida (1999-2003).
Discovery Place
Discovery Place is a private 501c(3) not-for-profit education organization dedicated to inspiring exploration of science and the natural world through extraordinary exhibits and educational programs that inform, challenge and engage audiences of all ages. Discovery Place Science in Uptown is home to the Accenture IMAX Dome Theatre.
