John Jones

John Jones has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. John started their career in 2004 as a Team Leader at Chick-fil-A, where they were responsible for employee training and maintaining high-quality service. In 2009, they worked as an Area Coordinator at PARTY PLANNERS WEST INC during the NFL Experience, managing 30-40 volunteers daily. John then became a Seasonal Intern at Wyle Laboratories Inc, supporting aeronautical engineering projects.

In 2011, John worked as a Marketing Intern at Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, where they developed market surveys and managed brand communication through social media. John then joined J.F. Taylor, Inc in 2012 as an Electrical Technician, ensuring contractual obligations were met with quality and attention to detail.

John's most recent role was at Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc (DESI) where they started as a Contract Administrator in 2014. John managed government contracting activities and performed cradle-to-grave federal contracts administration. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Contracts, where they became the cross-departmental liaison for the Executive Management Team. Overall, John has gained extensive experience in contracts administration, management, marketing, and team leadership.

John Jones earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Sport Management from the University of Tampa from 2008 to 2011. John completed their high school education at St. Mary's Ryken High School from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, John Jones has obtained several certifications. In May 2017, they became a Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). In March 2018, they also received the Certified Commercial Contracts Manager certification from the same institution. Furthermore, John achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020.
