Ashish Thakur

Ashish Thakur is an experienced professional in the sports industry, currently serving as Assistant Manager - Special Projects at Disney Star since September 2022, where responsibilities include managing strategic initiatives for Star Sports and Star India. Prior to this role, Ashish was Head of Special Projects at HYPE - Sports Innovation, leading research on sportstech startups and enhancing B2B relationships in sports innovation from September 2018 to September 2022. Additional experience includes roles in sports marketing and communication, sports journalism, and content management across various organizations, including Hibernian Football Club and Sportslens. Ashish holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Stirling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application from MITSOM.
