Petri Stenberg began their work experience in 2007, conducting research work at the University of Eastern Finland. In 2013, they joined Stela Nanotech Ltd as the CTO until 2014. Following that, they worked at Microsoft from 2014 to 2017, first as a Process Engineer and then as a Senior Process Engineer, where they played a role in developing and manufacturing the Hololens headset. In 2017, Stenberg joined Dispelix Oy as the Manufacturing Director & Site Manager, where they established and built the Dispelix Joensuu site and developed a team focused on product and production. Petri then became the VP of Manufacturing & Site Manager in 2020 at Dispelix Oy. Additionally, Stenberg has also held positions at Photonics Finland since 2020, serving as a Deputy Board Member and later as a Board Member.
Petri Stenberg earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from the University of Eastern Finland, during the period of 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Photonics, micro- and nanofabrication, and nanocarbon from the University of Joensuu (UEF) between 2002 and 2008. Additionally, Petri Stenberg obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Quality Knowhow Karjalainen Oy in 2023.
