Rafal Kocik

Rafal Kocik has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rafal is currently the Head of Physical Product Design at Displate, where they have recruited and led a multidisciplinary team while playing a crucial role in the company's product vision and strategy. Prior to Displate, Rafal was the Lead Physical Product Manager at the same company.

In 2018, they co-founded Studio Kocik, an industrial design studio, where they designed products across different areas and introduced a structured product discovery process. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Spółdzielnia Projektantów TAKĄDNIE.

Rafal also has extensive experience in the digital industry, having worked in various online advertising agencies and web portals as a Digital Products Creator & Manager. Rafal conceptualized and led the production of diverse digital products and successfully managed projects with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they have held creative and leadership roles at companies such as K2 Internet S.A., Grupa o2, VML Poland, Grupa Wirtualna Polska, and MRM//McCann. Rafal started their career as an Office Assistant at Grafton Recruitment Ireland.

Rafal Kocik obtained their Licencjat degree in Zarządzanie i Marketing from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which they attended from 2001 to 2006. From 2007 to 2011, they pursued another Licencjat degree in Sztuka Nowych Mediów at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Recently, from 2017 to 2021, Rafal completed their third Licencjat degree in Projektowanie produktu i komunikacji wizualnej at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie.
