Surrey Hughes

Surrey Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Surrey is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Displayr since May 2023. Prior to this, Surrey was the Co-Founder of Space Brains Productions since January 2021. Surrey also founded Gravity Undone in September 2018.

Surrey has held the position of Engineering Manager at Healthengine from November 2021 to May 2023. Before that, they worked at Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) as a Software Development Lead from March 2020 to December 2021 and as a Principal Software Engineer from September 2017 to January 2021.

Surrey also has experience as a Founder at Simple Real Good from February 2016 to January 2021. Surrey worked as a Contractor at Collabro and was responsible for creating and implementing web service based integration with vendor supplied UI and back-end processing systems in 2015.

Surrey'srole as a CTO at Dash Digital involved the development of new technologies and assessing the IT industry from June 2013 to January 2015. Surrey worked at Reignite as a Practice Manager, Enterprise Applications from January 2008 to June 2013. Surrey also worked as a Technical Architect at Reignite in 2008.

Surrey started their career at Graham Technology as an Integration Specialist, where they worked on an integration project connecting enterprise CRM and business intelligence systems to information vendors and regulatory bodies using GTX, an integration solution developed and sold by Graham Technology.

Surrey Hughes attended Southern Cross University from 1993 to 1997. During this time, Surrey pursued a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Marketing and Computing. They completed their studies in Marketing and Computing, as well as a Bachelor of Business degree.
