Krating Poonpol

Krating Poonpol serves as the Group Chairman of KASIKORN Business-Technology Group, overseeing the technology, IT, AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, UX/UI, Blockchain, and innovation sectors for KBank, one of Thailand’s largest banks. Krating is actively involved in various organizations, including the World Economic Forum as a member of AI Governance, and serves on the Board of Directors for Samitivej Hospital and Saha Pathana Inter-Holding PCL. Krating contributes to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's AI Committee to enhance life quality in Bangkok. As a founding member of Unreasonable Collective and a partner at 500 Global, Krating focuses on investing in Thai and Southeast Asian tech startups. Krating also founded Disrupt Technology Venture and was previously a strategic advisor to the CEO of KASIKORN Bank. Academically, Krating holds an MBA from Stanford University and an Honorary Doctorate from Siam University, among other qualifications.
