Jim LaValley

Jim LaValley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jim started their career in 1988 with various positions before joining Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Manufacturing Resident Engineer. Jim then moved up to become a Program Staff Engineer in Powertrain Engineering and later a Senior/Resident Engineer. Jim joined Briggs & Stratton in 2013 as a Platform Lead Engineer and worked there until 2017. Currently, they are working at DISTek Integration, Inc. as a Sales Engineer, where they specialize in providing system level solutions and consulting for off-highway mobile equipment, with specific expertise in ISOBUS for agricultural equipment.

Jim LaValley attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1990, they enrolled at Marquette University and studied courses towards an MBA with a focus on Business.
