Saeed (Syd) Issaq is an experienced professional in the fields of partnerships, program management, and business development, currently serving as the Head of Global Partnerships at Distichain since November 2019. Prior to this role, Syd worked at Amazon as a Senior Program Manager, where significant contributions included managing the migration from Souq and enhancing marketplace dynamics in the UAE. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Solutions Architect & Business Development Director at Matrix Asset Management Solutions, where innovative solutions for the health and hospitality sectors were developed, and Project Management & Operations Consultant at Nahjtech LLC, overseeing infrastructure deployment for Etisalat. Syd's earlier tenure includes technical and integration consultancy roles at Ciena and Nortel Networks, alongside initial experience in carrier sales at World Telecom. Educational qualifications include an MRes in Telecommunications from UCL and a B.Sc in Physics & Management Science from the University of Keele.
