Elina Scorey

Elina Scorey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elina started their career at Identica Design in 2001 as a Junior Designer, focusing on design development and concept ideas for clients such as Reebok and Nike. In 2002, they joined Small Back Room as a New Media Designer, working on digital projects for companies like M&S and BAE Systems.

Elina then moved to Kugel as the Head of Interactive/Digital Design Director from 2004 to 2008, where they led the digital team and produced creative concepts for the digital environment. Elina also worked on projects for Identica Design from 2010 to 2012, providing digital strategy direction and overseeing project actualization.

In 2012, Elina worked on a project basis at Sabre Holdings, creating an interactive social newsroom and contributing to the development of their online sub-brand. Elina also worked as a Freelance Digital Strategy Consultant from 2009 to 2015, collaborating with designers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver digital solutions like integrated media campaigns and CRM systems.

Moving forward, Elina joined Black Swan Data in 2014 as an Account Director, overseeing retail accounts and building stakeholder relationships. Elina then joined borde.rs as an Associate Consultant in 2016, contributing to the development of a mobile news platform. In the same year, they also joined BiG as the Head of Business Development, focusing on strategic business proposition and go-to-market strategies.

Currently, Elina is working at Distil.ai as the Director of Business Development since 2018. Elina'srole entails bringing data solutions to businesses and creating personalized customer experiences at scale.

Elina Scorey completed their education with a BA honours degree in Communication Design from the University of Portsmouth. Elina attended this institution from 1998 to 2001, studying in the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Media. In 2016, they pursued an Executive Data Science Specialization at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs. Elina obtained a certification for this specialization through Coursera Course Certificates in November 2016.
