Tommy Parnell

Tommy Parnell is the Director of Engineering at DistillCloud, where he built an entirely immutable infrastructure in AWS using terraform and elastic container service. He also created a C# + OpenSearch based backend to handle complex searches. Prior to this role, Tommy served as the President and Vice President at Great American Downtown Inc, as well as the Principal Software Engineer at HiMarley. With experience in roles such as Engineering Manager and Lead Systems Engineer at companies like CarGurus and Vistaprint, Tommy has a strong background in software engineering and systems architecture. He also has experience as a Principle Architect and CTO at TripShip, showcasing his leadership in development projects. Tommy holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University.
