Amanda Pryce

Amanda Pryce currently serves as the Managing Director of Academics and the Managing Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for Literacy at Distinctive Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Amanda Pryce was the Principal at Waukegan Public Schools from July 2016 to July 2022 and served as the Assistant Principal at Orozco Community Academy for a year. Amanda Pryce's experience with Chicago Public Schools includes positions as a New Leaders Resident Principal at Perez Elementary School and as a Reading Coach at Ortiz de Dominguez, where significant improvements in student achievement were achieved. Amanda Pryce's teaching career began as a First Grade Teacher at Columbus Elementary School, where innovative instructional strategies led to remarkable increases in reading achievement. Amanda Pryce holds two Master of Arts degrees from Concordia University Chicago, focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration and Reading Teacher Education.
