DISTINCTIVE SCHOOLS
Kristin Solodar is a dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching and arts education. Currently serving as a Bilingual Teacher at Distinctive Schools since August 2022, Kristin's experience includes roles as a Day Camp Unit Head at JCC Chicago and a Temporary Teacher at Chicago Public Schools. Kristin has also gained valuable teaching experience as a Student Teacher and Substitute Teacher at both Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Jewish Day School, as well as teaching various dance styles at Carol Bowman Academy of Dance. Additionally, Kristin has contributed to the arts as a Production Assistant and Props Crew member with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Kristin holds a Master of Education in World Language Education from DePaul University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre Arts and Hispanic Studies from Illinois Wesleyan University.
