Michele Lansing Palter

Michele Lansing Palter, LCSW, currently serves as the Network Director of Clinical Services at Distinctive Schools, where responsibilities include leading the Social Work program, school-based therapy, and trauma-informed professional development. Previous experience spans various roles including Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Professional Development and Training at Juvenile Protective Association, as well as a Lecturer at Columbia University. Michele has a strong clinical background, marked by roles as a Child & Adolescent Therapist and providing therapy through internships and volunteer work. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago, a Master of Education from Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from New York University.
