Robin Zlotnick

Robin Zlotnick has a diverse work experience in various roles within the media and entertainment industry. Robin is currently working at Distractify, where they started as a Staff Writer in January 2020 and progressed to become a Senior Editor in December 2020. Robin is currently serving as the Chief Content and Copy Editor at Distractify since January 2022.

Before joining Distractify, Robin worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor under their own name, starting in March 2018.

Prior to that, they worked at Brainjolt, starting as a Staff Writer in December 2016 and then becoming an Associate Editor in April 2017. Robin left Brainjolt in February 2018.

Robin also has experience working at Guff Media, where they held the position of Associate Editor from November 2014 to June 2016. Their responsibilities at Guff Media included designing and implementing a freelance program, managing teams of freelance writers, editing writers' pieces, and creating viral content.

Robin has also worked as a Movie Critic at The Blemish from January 2013 to November 2016, where they wrote movie reviews.

In addition, Robin worked as a Writer at BEARHUG Comedy from October 2012 until an unspecified date in 2016. Robin was responsible for writing, directing, producing, and occasionally acting in original online and live sketch comedy.

Their responsibilities included managing a team of community specialists, strategizing and implementing plans for community interaction and growth, analyzing user data, and developing marketing and community engagement proposals. Prior to their role as an Internal Community Builder, they worked as a Community Specialist at Love It, LLC from March 2012 to June 2012, where they added content to the website, created specialized collections, and interacted with site users to foster an online community.

From 2007 to 2011, Robin Zlotnick attended Emerson College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Production with a focus on Writing for Film and Television.
