Leandro Melo

Leandro Melo has had a varied work experience. Leandro began their career in 2002 as a Guest Service Agent for Hilton. In 2004, they moved to Grand Hyatt as a Food and Beverage Supervisor, where they were responsible for supervising a 30-person staff, coordinating and organizing the F&B Department, and training internal and outsourced teams. In 2006, they joined Scalline as a Senior National Sales Manager, managing a 50-person team, managing customer care and B2B relationships with clients, and overseeing Trade Marketing and Marketing Management. In 2016, they took on the role of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for GMR Marketing, where they were responsible for the Food and Beverage department management for the CISCO program, contract review and evaluation, and venue checks and pre-sets. In 2017, they joined EF Education First as a Country Product Manager, responsible for the Long Term Programs nationwide, building product strategy alongside the Mkt Dept in Zurich/London and Local, and responsible for product P&L locally. Finally, in 2019, they took on two roles: National Business Development Manager for Distribusion Technologies, and Senior Operations Consultant for Poke Garden / Sushi Garden One.

Leandro Melo has an extensive educational background. Leandro obtained a Bachelor of Hotel Management from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi between 2000 and 2006. Leandro then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2011-2013, with a focus in Business Administration. In 2015-2017, they earned another MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, this time with a focus in Commercial Management.
