Marcela Vazquez

Marcela Vazquez is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as an Associate in Development Network at DSD Renewables since May 2022. Previously, Marcela held various roles at SunPower Corporation from August 2018 to April 2022, including Senior Project Development Analyst, where assistance was provided to the storage team regarding pricing and potential services, as well as Project Development Analyst focused on developing proposals for commercial solar projects. Earlier experience includes a role as Community Affairs Representative at MCE, where engagement with customers on electric service topics and analysis of energy data for greenhouse gas accounting were key responsibilities. Marcela also interned as an Energy Analyst at BASELAYER, where economic analyses and research on demand response programs were conducted, and as an intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, focusing on environmental sample analysis. Marcela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from San Diego State University, complemented by prior education at Las Positas College.
