Sarah J. Williams

Fee Dispute Program Volunteer Arbitrator at D.C. Bar

Sarah J. Williams serves as an Associate Professor at Penn State Dickinson Law since July 2019 and has held the role of Assistant Professor previously. In addition to academic responsibilities, Williams is a Board Member of the DC Bar Attorney/Client Arbitration Board since July 2022 and participates as a Fee Dispute Program Volunteer Arbitrator for the DC Bar since April 2019. Williams previously contributed to the Long-Term Stock Exchange as a Board Member from May 2022 to July 2023. A notable career includes over 15 years at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), where Williams advanced from Associate Director of Registration to Deputy Director, overseeing compliance frameworks for public accounting firms. Early professional experience includes roles at the National Association of Securities Dealers, where Williams earned a 2002 Presidential Award, and at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
