John French

John French is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, community service, and event coordination. Currently serving as a Quiz Master at Fraserwood Industries Ltd since October 2024 and as a Councillor for the District of Squamish since November 2018, John has demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to community engagement. Previous roles include Sales Manager at Whistler99 Courier & Freightways, Service Manager at Splash, Owner/Operator of Sound Selection Communications, and Community Relations Manager at Woodfibre LNG. Additionally, John has contributed to public health efforts as a Contact Tracing Assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic and has experience in media as a Morning News Anchor at Mountain FM. John holds a Broadcast Certificate from Columbia Academy and has engaged in ongoing education through Landmark Education and St. John Ambulance.
