Carolyn Loconte

Carolyn LoConte is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, public relations, and media relations. Since January 2020, Carolyn has served as Communications Officer and Acting Manager of Communications & Public Relations at the District School Board of Niagara, where responsibilities include developing and implementing communications plans and crisis communications support. Prior to this, Carolyn worked as a Public Affairs Specialist at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and held positions at PRAXIS and CHCH, where event planning and media engagement were key focuses. Carolyn’s career began with a role as a reporter and videographer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from McMaster University and postgraduate certificates in Broadcast Journalism/Videography from Fanshawe College and Public Relations from Humber College.
