Denise Plante-Dupuis, RSSW, BA (Hons), B.Ed, OCT, M.Ed, currently serves as a Mental Health Leader with the District School Board Ontario North East since January 2013. Previous roles include Partial Load Professor at Northern College from September 2008 to December 2012, Manager of Clinical Services and Supported Apartments Program at Community Living West Nipissing from 2006 to 2008, and various teaching positions at Le Collège Boréal and Nipissing Children's Mental Health Services. Denise holds a Master of Education degree from Nipissing University, a Bachelor of Education from Laurentian University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University.

District School Board Ontario North East is an Ontario English Public School Board serving Northeastern Ontario from Hearst to Temagami. It covers an extensive area of 25,000 square kilometres. Our vision is "To empower all learners to achieve personal excellence." Our main office is located in Schumacher at 153 Croatia Avenue and a secondary office is located in New Liskeard at 198022 River Road. Our schools offer English, French Immersion and Alternate Education programming, including the Early Learning Kindergarten Program with full-day Junior and Senior Kindergarten. We also have a strong online learning community through e-Learning Ontario of the Ontario Ministry of Education.
