Lead Engineer For Audio R&d at DistroKid

Adam Love has a diverse work experience in the audio and music industry. Adam is currently working as the Lead Engineer for Audio R&D at DistroKid, where they collaborate with teams to provide a seamless experience to artists worldwide. Adam is also the Co-Founder & CTO of PlaySound, a music education technology company aiming to revolutionize music learning. Prior to these roles, Adam served as the President & Founder of MajorDecibel, an online audio mastering service, and developed professional audio software and plugins. Adam also worked at ON Semiconductor as a Senior Principal Audio Algorithm Developer and at BlackBerry as an Audio DSP Software Developer, where they researched and implemented advanced audio algorithms and designed adaptive algorithms for mobile devices. Additionally, Adam gained experience as an Audiology Software Student Researcher at the National Centre for Audiology, where they developed a computer-assisted audiometry system for infants.

Adam Love obtained a BESc degree in Electrical Engineering from Western University from 2004 to 2008. Adam then pursued higher education at the same institution and received a MESc degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Audio Digital Signal Processing from 2008 to 2010.
