He was born in 1957 in Istanbul. He graduated from ITU Aeronautical Engineering in 1980. He started his career as a Purchasing Engineer in Anadolu Automotive Industry in 1980 and continued as R&D Engineer in Kayseri Air Supply Facilities within the body of the Turkish Air Force in 1982. Following this duty, he took part in the Initial Production and Localization projects of Isuzu Trucks and Buses as the Purchasing Chief at Anadolu Isuzu, the first Turkish - Japanese Joint Venture venture in Turkey. Following this duty, he was the Project Leader in the preparation and installation of the SAP ERP System as Production Planning and Stock Control Manager in the same company. Following this project, he worked as the Purchasing Manager in the Projects of Increase in Production, Development of the Sub-Industry and Transition to Export. In the same period, he also served as the Chairman of the OSD Automotive Industry Association Purchasing Committee, and during this period, he took on important tasks in the implementation of the OSD Sub-Industry Quality Improvement and OSD Sub-Industry Success Award projects. At the beginning of 2001, with the onset of the economic crisis in the country, he took charge as the Sales Manager responsible for Sales, Service and Spare Parts in the restructuring of the company and led the projects of restructuring the Dealer and Service Network, increasing exports, establishing the Overseas Service and Service Network. In the same period, he also served as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the OSD Automotive Industry Association. Following this duty, he was appointed as Sales and Marketing Director in 2006 and worked as responsible for Sales, Marketing, Service and Spare Parts Operations.
