Kit Plummer

Kit Plummer is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Engineer, Federal at Ditto since March 2023, Kit previously held the position of Strategic Mission Solutions Executive at Microsoft from July 2022 to January 2023. With over a decade of expertise in modern software engineering practices, Kit has contributed as Principal Research Engineer at Georgia Tech Research Institute, focusing on high-quality and secure product delivery, and has co-founded Ion Channel as CTO. Prior roles include leadership positions at Dozer Software LLC, RadiantBlue Technologies, AirGap LLC, and MaestroDev, showcasing a strong background in open source software, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies. Kit holds both an MS in Software Engineering and a BS in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
