Christy Chen has an extensive work experience in public relations and business development. Christy started their career at the Indiana State Bar Association as an Assistant to the Executive Director from September 2006 to December 2007. Christy then joined Dittoe Public Relations in 2007 as an Account Executive, where they successfully secured media placements for high-profile clients. In 2009, Christy was promoted to the role of Director of Business Development, where they developed and led growth strategies for the company. Christy also played a key role in forming new strategic partnerships. In 2012, Christy briefly worked at Indianapolis Social Media as the Director of Recognition, where they were responsible for developing and executing the Indianapolis Social Excellence awards program, as well as assisting with marketing, public relations, and event planning endeavors. In 2013, they returned to Dittoe Public Relations as a Partner and Vice President of Account Services, where they continue to excel in their role.

Christy Chen attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Telecommunications. Christy also had minors in Business and Studio Art. Christy Chen previously attended Bishop Luers High School, but the specific dates and degree obtained are unknown.
