Osam Aziz

Osam Aziz has a strong background in software development and leadership roles.

Starting in 2003, Aziz worked as a Web Developer at Schering-Plough Research Institute before moving on to become a Lead Web Developer at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage. In these roles, they maintained and managed multiple in-house solutions and systems.

In 2007, Aziz co-founded AquaHost and served as a Co-Founder and Sysadmin. Osam played a key role in the company's operations before it was acquired.

Following this, Aziz co-founded Beaver Tech in 2008, where they worked as a Co-Founder and Senior Developer. Here, they developed and designed various high-end distributable web applications and also created custom automation, security, and monitoring tools.

In 2010, Aziz joined iHave as a Technical Team Lead, where they utilized their skills in managing and leading technical teams.

Moving forward, they worked as a Senior Full-Stack Developer in freelance roles before joining Appraisal Scope in 2014. In Appraisal Scope, they served as the CTO, managing a team of over 30 developers and overseeing the technical vision and development of the platform.

From 2016 to 2018, Aziz worked as a Freelance Software Developer for various companies, further enhancing their skills and experience.

Since 2018, they have served as the Chief Technology Officer at DIVE Billboards, where they continue to make significant contributions to the company's technological advancements.

Osam Aziz began their education by completing their high school degree from Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further studies at Herzing College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Programmer Analyst. The field of study for both their high school degree and Programmer Analyst degree is not specified.
