Martin Koistinen has over 20 years of work experience, beginning with a role as Manager of Electronic Media at Schlumberger in 1997. In 2001, they became Manager of Security Consulting at SchlumbergerSema, and in 2004 they were promoted to Director of Global Security at Atos Origin. In 2006, Martin Koistinen founded and became Managing Director of Sisu Consulting, Ltd., providing website and web-app solutions for a variety of clients in a number of market sectors. Martin also became an official "core contributor" of Django's most popular CMS package 'django CMS' in 2014. In 2015, they were Senior Software Engineer at Divio Inc, and in 2016 they were Lead Software Developer at Open Therapeutics. In 2017, they became Consulting Director of Software Development at Knowbella Tech, and in 2018 they were Team Lead at SmileDirectClub. Since 2020, they have been Principal Software Developer at Diveplane Corporation.
Martin Koistinen attended Austin College from 1984 to 1986, where they studied Mathematics and Physics. Martin then attended North Carolina State University from 2021 to 2022, where they studied Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and is currently attending North Carolina State University from 2022 to 2022 to study Artificial Intelligence.
