Randall Spangler is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in both technology and diving instruction. With over eight years at Diver Dan's, Inc. as a PADI Scuba Instructor and ongoing experience as the Instructor/Guide and Owner of Spanglers Scuba since May 2013, Randall combines a passion for aquatic education with technical expertise. Prior to the diving industry, Randall served as a Technical Lead for Google’s Chrome OS Firmware from August 2007 to October 2021 and held similar roles at Carrier IQ and Foveon, where experience as a Senior Software Engineer was gained. Randall's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems from Caltech and a BS in Physics from Harvey Mudd College.
