Joe Tralongo

Joe Tralongo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and product management. Currently serving as Director of AM Hardware Engineering at Divergent since January 2024, Joe previously held various significant roles at Velo3D from January 2017 to January 2024, including Director of Product Management and Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed guiding product strategy, overseeing system design, and managing engineering teams for advanced laser powder bed fusion machines. Prior to Velo3D, Joe worked at SECTOR111, LLC as an Engineer, contributed to vehicle development at D.R.E.W.FAB as a CAD Designer/Fabricator/Mechanic, and gained foundational experience in mechanical roles and team leadership through participation in Baja SAE and Formula SAE during university. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University in 2014.
