Maria Veklich

Maria Veklich is a seasoned professional in government affairs and communications, currently serving as Vice President of Government Affairs & Communications at Divergent since December 2024. Previously, Maria held the position of Vice President of Government Affairs at Hermeus from December 2022 to November 2024. Experience also includes a role as Director of Government Affairs at Raytheon Technologies (January 2020 - January 2022) and Associate Director of Congressional Programs & Strategy at Collins Aerospace (January 2017 - January 2020). Maria's early career in the United States Congress encompassed various roles, including Defense Professional Staff for the Senate Appropriations Committee and staff positions related to the Department of State & Foreign Operations Subcommittee. Maria earned an MBA in Finance and Financial Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a B.A. in Political Science and Business from the University of Rochester.
