Karla Garcia is a BC Settlement Navigator at DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society, where Karla supports newcomers and their families by creating action plans based on their different necessities, mainly focusing on Spanish speakers. In the past, Karla has worked as a Career Development Practitioner at WorkBC.ca, a General Assistant at UNITED FLOWER GROWERS CO-OP ASSOCIATION, a Teacher Assistant at Avante Private School, and a Teacher promoted to Coordinator at COLEGIO CHRISTA MCAULIFFE. Earlier in their career, Karla worked as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Grupo Psicoterapeutico Integral. Karla holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and is currently furthering their education at Simon Fraser University.
