Meheret Bisrat has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. Currently, at DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society, they have held several positions including Director of Settlement & Community Development, Senior Manager of Community Development, Manager of Refugee and Specialized Programs, Assistant Manager of Refugee and Specialized Programs, Moving Ahead Program and Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Host Program Coordinator. They also briefly worked as a CSO at Service Canada.
