Michael Weismiller has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael started their career as a Lab Instructor in the US Army in 1979 and then worked as a Lab Manager at SGS Testing & Control Services Pte Ltd from 1983 to 1985. Michael then joined Exxon Chemical and Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals as a Senior Research Chemist from 1991 to 1995, and later became a Technical Manager at Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals from 1995 to 1996. Michael then moved to Ciba, where they served as the Marketing Manager for Lubricant Additives in Asia and the Gulf Coast from 1996 to 1999, and later became the Global Technical Director for Lubricants - Metal Working from 1999 to 2005. Michael then joined Master Chemical Corporation as the Global VP - R&D from 2006 to 2014, during which they successfully developed and refined the R&D strategy for product development, leading to a doubling of company sales. Michael then served as the Director at Master Chemical Corporation from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. as a Technical Director, and later became the Vice President of Technology in 2018. Michael Weismiller retired in 2019.
Michael Weismiller obtained their high school diploma in Chemistry from the Greater Johnstown Area Vocational Technical School in Pennsylvania from 1974 to 1976. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University from 1983 to 1986. Following this, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from Drexel University between 1986 and 1990.
