Charisse Y. Sparks

Charisse Y. Sparks, M.D., FAAOS, is an accomplished medical leader with extensive experience in orthopaedics and medical innovation. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Inspire Medical Systems since July 2023 and as an Advisory Board Member at Diversity by Doing (DxD) HealthTech since October 2023, Charisse has previously held significant roles including Chief Medical Officer at AppliedVR and Vice President at DePuy Synthes Companies, Johnson and Johnson. With a strong focus on medical devices and digital therapeutics, Charisse has also been instrumental in driving women into leadership positions through membership in Chief. Charisse completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Harvard Medical School and is board-certified with a robust background in trauma care and medical leadership across multiple reputable organizations.
