Marleen Kanagawa's education history begins with their time at Dunwoody High School, where they pursued a College Preparatory with Distinction program from 2003 to 2007. Following their high school graduation, they enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering as well as in Biology, General. Marleen attended Georgia Tech from 2007 to 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Marleen has also acquired various certifications. Notably, they received the 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in June 2022. In the same year, they obtained the Reliability and Maintainability Implementation Certification from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
