Carmen Dumitrescu

Carmen Dumitrescu is an experienced business professional with over 15 years in the retail market, currently serving as Business Development Manager at DIVERTA since March 2006. In this role, Carmen manages the business expansion and development processes of the retail network, delivering strategic plans, conducting complex contract negotiations, and fostering strong partnerships, particularly during financial crises. Previously, Carmen worked as a Regional Manager overseeing multiple stores, where responsibilities included coordinating store operations, developing internal procedures to enhance financial performance, and driving sales growth. Carmen’s earlier experience includes entrepreneurship in product import and distribution, as well as roles in logistics and economics within the pharmaceutical sector. Carmen holds a degree in Finance, Banking, and Accounting from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
