Yingbao Li

Yingbao Li is a seasoned software consultant and developer with extensive experience in the energy and financial sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at The Smart Grid Control Ltd. since January 2010, Yingbao has also held a Senior Software Developer position at Divestco Inc. since 2010 and was a Technical Lead at GE Energy from September 2006 to 2010, where new software solutions for digital substations were developed. Prior roles include Technical Lead and Software Architect at GE, focusing on the design and implementation of the 61850 protocol and key components in ConfigPro CCE, as well as serving as a Senior System Analyst at IFDS and a Supervisory Engineer/Project Manager at Siemens. Yingbao also acted as Principal Engineer/Director at Dongfang Electronic Information Group, responsible for SCADA system design and implementation. Yingbao holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, obtained between 1989 and 1992.
