Maria Soriano Young

Maria Soriano Young possesses over 10 years of writing and editing experience, having worked with clients and academic publishing companies on various projects within the humanities and social sciences industries. She joined Dix & Eaton in 2022, and partners with colleagues and clients to ensure their external and internal messages are polished and clear. Maria’s editorial expertise includes applying a critical eye and audience perspective to documents at all stages and offering suggestions to enhance clarity, cohesion, and content.

Before joining Dix & Eaton, Maria most recently served as a communications manager with Cleveland Clinic. Previously, she also directed the writing center at John Carroll University and brings many years of experience as a freelance editor.

Maria earned a bachelor’s in English from Baldwin Wallace University and a master’s in English with a specialization in composition & rhetoric from John Carroll University.
