Frozan Asifi possesses extensive experience in settlement services and language support, currently serving as a Dari and Pashto Settlement Counsellor at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre since November 2021 and as a Life Skill Worker at Wesley since September 2021. Previous roles include Housing and Settlement Worker at The Housing Help Centre and Administrative Assistant at Moratti Heating and Cooling. Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre

Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre was founded in 1988 by concerned members of the community to enhance the quality of life of those residing in the Dixie Bloor area. Programs offered are free of charge and responsive to the needs of the community including programs for newcomers, job seekers, youth, family, seniors, and many more. Staff, volunteers and neighbors work together to identify and discuss issues and concerns, develop and provide services and programs to meet the needs of the community, and promote community participation. Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre’s mission is to foster an atmosphere which will encourage our community as a whole to participate in and develop a positive, healthy and caring neighbourhood.
