Evan Montero

Evan Montero is the Co-Founder and CEO of DIY blinds since April 2015. Evan also served as the Director at esenar from October 2018 to June 2021. In addition, Evan worked as a Corporate Advisory Committee member at Melbourne City Mission from February 2016 to February 2019, where they provided insights on commercial engagement, fundraising, and development programs. Before that, they were a Business Development Manager at VicSuper from May 2015 to September 2016. Evan worked as the General Manager at Salvis from September 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, Evan held various positions including Client Relationship Manager at First State Super from June 2013 to September 2014, Acquisitions & Alliances at National Australia Bank from September 2009 to January 2013, and Business Development Manager at IRIS Financial Group Ltd from February 2009 to September 2009. Evan started their career as a Mortgage Broker at RAY Mortgages from August 2006 to September 2009.

Evan Montero's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT University, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. In the same year, they also pursued a Diploma of Financial Services with a focus on RG146 from FINSIA. In 2009, Evan completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Applied) from RMIT University. Prior to that, in 2006, they obtained a Certificate IV in Finance/Mortgage Broking from Kaplan. During the same year, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from RMIT University. Evan's education journey began in 2003 at Gilson College, where they completed their high school education.
