Frank Lu has extensive work experience in the field of laboratory operations and animal care. frank is currently a council member in the Pacific Rim for AAALAC International, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as an ad hoc/specialist for AAALAC International from July 2014 to March 2023.

Before joining AAALAC International, Frank worked at Dizal Pharmaceutical, where they held various positions. Their most recent role was as the Director of General Lab Operation, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Operations from January 2020 to September 2022, the Senior Manager of Lab Operation from January 2019 to February 2020, and the Lab Operation Manager from December 2017 to January 2019.

Frank also gained experience at AstraZeneca, where they worked as the Animal Facility Manager & Attending Veterinarian from May 2015 to December 2017, and as an Attending Veterinarian from August 2010 to April 2015.

Earlier in their career, Frank worked at Medicilon-MPI Preclinical Research as an Attending Veterinarian from October 2008 to August 2010, and at WuXi AppTec as an Attending Veterinarian from June 2007 to October 2008.

Frank Lu obtained their Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2007. frank then pursued further education at the same university and is currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Veterinary Medicine since 2016.
