Matt McDaniel

Matt McDaniel has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Matt started their career as an Interactive Application Developer and Helpdesk Technician at SourceNet in 1998. Matt then worked as an Assistant Network Engineer and Helpdesk Technician at Cooper & Walinski LPA from 2002 to 2005.

In 2005, Matt joined Rackspace Hosting as a Senior Architect for Data Services & Storage. Matt played a key role in designing and implementing infrastructure and service migration plans for two data centers. Matt also designed scalable backup solutions for large Enterprise customers and managed the migration of clients from EMC Legato Networker to CommVault Galaxy.

Matt then joined ViaWest in 2008, where they held multiple roles including Infrastructure Engineer, Storage Architect, and Manager of Enterprise Storage Services. Matt contributed significantly to the sales cycle by providing technical resources for discussing implementation, migration, and storage management services. Matt implemented EMC Clariion CX4 storage and RecoverPoint replication for internal infrastructure, reducing costs and increasing redundancy. Matt also architected a new Cloud storage infrastructure using multiple vendor solutions and managed external vendor relationships.

From 2011 to 2014, Matt worked as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Sigma Solutions, Inc., specializing in EMC storage services. Matt focused on implementation, migration, and replication technologies for various customers in diverse industries such as finance, healthcare, oil & gas, education, and private sectors across Texas.

Most recently, Matt joined Dizzion | Digital Workspaces in 2014. Matt has held the positions of Director of Technical Infrastructure, Principal Architect, and currently serves as the Director of Service Optimization.

Matt McDaniel attended Stautzenberger College from 2001 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Network Administration with a focus on IT.
