Paul Adams

Paul works in the nexus of conservation and complexity.

He has been developing desktop, mobile and online applications since 1997. He takes complicated and complex conservation problems and develops systems to help people visualize and interact with data to find new solutions. He combines programming expertise with a prowess for natural resource interpretation.

His primary programming expertise is in Java with an emphasis on web services (REST/SOAP). Paul also has experience developing object-oriented, database-driven web applications. Some of the more pertinent technologies from his repertoire include; Java, PHP, HTML/5, SQL, XML/XSL, JSON, jQuery and AngularJS.

Prior to working at DJ Case, Paul served as a Software Development Engineer/Technical Fellow with PTC, a global software development company. Paul led international development teams using scrum/agile processes.

Paul holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Technical and professional potential aside, Paul is an avid angler, paddler, hiker, birder and outdoor photographer. Paul lives on the shore of the Mississippi River in Wisconsin amidst a wealth of National Wildlife Refuges that he regularly paddles and explores.
