Lara Bavinton

Lara Bavinton is a skilled Senior Research Associate at DJS Antibodies since February 2019, leveraging extensive research experience gained during previous positions. Lara conducted a five-month research project at Imperial College London as an MRes student, focusing on the expression and purification of cercarial elastase from the Schistosoma parasite, achieving a pass with distinction for the thesis. Early professional experiences include volunteering at Kaya Responsible Travel's Helping Hand's Hospital laboratory, where blood processing and microbiology testing were performed, and a week of work experience at Precious Cells Group, observing umbilical cord blood and tissue processing. Lara holds an MRes in Biomedical Research from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Biochemistry from The University of Manchester.
