Michael Hjorth

Michael Hjorth has diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael has held roles such as Teknisk Chef / Head of Technical Department at Djurs Sommerland, where they were responsible for managing a team of technicians and overseeing budget and ride maintenance. Michael also worked as a Production Manager at Ebeltoft Gårdrygeri and as a Department Leader and Coordinator at TERMA Group, where they supervised assembly engineers and coordinated production flow. Additionally, they have worked as a Supervisor and Site Integration Manager at BEUMER Group, overseeing installation projects at airports worldwide. Prior to that, they worked at TERMA Group as a Global Field Service Engineer, providing support for radar systems worldwide. Michael also has experience in quality control and as a workers union representative. Michael has also founded an electronic webshop and worked as an automotive technician and mechanic trainee in the automotive industry.

Michael Hjorth's education history is as follows:

From 1995 to 2004, Michael completed grades 1 to 9 at Østre school in Grenaa, focusing on junior high education. In 2005, they completed 10th grade at the 10th Grade Center Grenaa, which corresponds to high school education.

In 2010, Michael enrolled in the Tradium Technical School and obtained an Automotive Mechanic Degree in 2010. During their time at Tradium, they studied computer testing, calibration, and updating, as well as advanced engine and wire harness techniques.

From 2010 to 2012, Michael attended the Auto Industry Development Center North, where they earned an Automotive Technician Degree. Michael focused on advanced wire harness and engine control.

In 2014, Michael joined Terma A/S Aviation as an Assembly Fitter/Engineer. Michael received a degree in Aviation Assembly Fitter/Engineer and specialized in aerostructures.

From 2015 to 2016, Michael continued their education at Terma A/S, this time as an Aviation QC Engineer. Michael obtained a degree in Aviation Quality Control Engineering, with a focus on assembly and composites.

In 2016, Michael participated in Delegated Buy-off QA tasks at Terma A/S, further expanding their knowledge in aviation buy-off.

Additionally, Michael has acquired several certifications, including Educator in Aviation Assembly Complex Structures from TERMA Group in 2020, a French Electrical Safety Certificate from Legrand in 2020, and an EWPA Yellow Card for elevated work from EWPA Australia in 2019.

Other certifications include a White Card safety training from the Australian Work Health and Safety in 2019, OHS training from Helsinki Airport's Finavia in 2019, Forklift Certificates A and B from AARHUS TECH in 2018, a Known Supplier test from BEUMER Group in 2018, and a Security Background Checked PET to work for Beumergroup on airport projects, obtained from Politiet Efterretnings Tjeneste in 2018.

Michael's certifications also include an L-aus Electrical Safety for Low and High Voltage from Den Jydske Haandværkerskole in 2017, an F.O.D. Foreign Object Debris test for radar systems from TERMA Group in 2017, Safety Equipment Training in Heights from Comtec International A/S in 2017, an ESD-Electrostatic Sensitive Devices test from TERMA Group in 2016, and Certificates of Training in Aviation Management Quality and Syllabus for Management Quality from TEC - Technical Education Copenhagen in 2016 and 2015, respectively.

Moreover, Michael holds certifications such as an F.O.D. Foreign Object Debris/Damage Extended Test for Aerospace Industry from TERMA Group in 2015, an Aviation Assembly Fitter (Flymontør) Certificate from TERMA Group in 2014, a Civil Aircraft Assembly Certificate from TERMA Group in 2014, and a Security Cleared (NATO) and PET Background Checked certification to work for Terma obtained from Politiets Sikkerhetstjeneste - PST in 2014.

Finally, Michael obtained a Climat Control Certificate from EUC Nord in 2012 and a Mechanic Craft Certificate in accordance with the rules laid down by the Danish Ministry of Education from Industriens Uddannelser in 2010.
