Kevin Belk

Kevin Belk is the Senior Vice President of DK Security. Kevin has over 40 years of experience in law enforcement, including stints as Police Chief, Police Captain, and Police Lieutenant. Kevin has also served on the Michigan Parole Board.

Belk began their law enforcement career in 1980 as a police lieutenant with the Grand Rapids Police Department. Kevin was promoted to captain in 1996 and served in that role for 11 years. In 2007, they were promoted to police chief and served in that role for seven years.

In 2014, Belk left the Grand Rapids Police Department to join the Michigan Department of Corrections as a parole board member. Kevin served in that role for two years before joining DK Security in 2016.

Kevin Belk graduated from the 193rd Session of the FBI National Academy, a graduate-level law enforcement leadership program. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Grand Valley State University and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Grand Rapids Community College.
