Ann Chia

Ann Chia is a Senior Data Scientist at DKATALIS and a former Lead ML Engineer at Omdena, where they focused on developing machine learning models to combat fake news. They previously held positions as an Engineer at DSTA and an Intern at DSO National Laboratories and thyssenkrupp Marine Systems. Ann also contributed as a Lab Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, co-authoring research on inorganic synthesis protocols. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
