Paul Higgins

Paul Higgins is a seasoned professional in the insurance and financial services sectors, currently serving as Partner, Head of Insurance Practice, and Chicago Office Leader at DLA, LLC since August 2023. From 2005 to 2022, Paul held the position of Principal in the FSO Enterprise Risk division at EY, where responsibilities included developing and growing financial services accounts in banking, insurance, and wealth and asset management and serving as Engagement Partner for multiple insurance and financial services companies. Prior experience includes Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit at Chubb from 1998 to 2005, where Paul established a new financial unit within the ACE Internal Audit Division and oversaw audits across various international operations. The career began as a Senior Auditor at PwC from 1995 to 1998, leading external financial audits for insurance organizations. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
