Carola Lauer

Carola Lauer is an experienced HR professional with a strong focus on talent acquisition and management within the legal industry. Currently serving as the Head of Talent Acquisition for Asia Pacific, as well as Transformation Lead and interim Head of HR for Australia at DLA Piper, Carola is responsible for the strategic direction and effective delivery of HR across a diverse network of seven offices in Asia. Prior to this, Carola held roles as Senior HR Manager and HR Manager at DLA Piper, where strategic guidance on talent management and operational efficiencies were key contributions. Earlier experience includes serving as an Executive Search Consultant at Hamilton James & Bruce and as a Recruitment Consultant at Badenoch & Clark. Carola holds dual BBA degrees in Business Management from the University of Maryland and RMIT University.
