Dan Cartmell

Dan Cartmell is an experienced Intellectual Property Associate at DLA Piper since July 2022, with prior experience as an Associate at Goodwin from March 2021 to July 2022, and as a Trainee Solicitor at K&L Gates between August 2018 and August 2020. At K&L Gates, Dan completed two seats, focusing on Non-Contentious Construction in the first seat and IP/Competition/EU Regulatory/Commercial/Data Protection in the second seat, involving tasks such as drafting contracts, managing IP portfolios, advising on GDPR, and assisting with counterfeit product actions. Dan began a legal career as a Paralegal at DWF in subrogated recoveries and also worked as a Resort Driver at Powder Byrne International. Educational achievements include completing the LPC and GDL at BPP Law School and obtaining a BA in Geography from The University of Manchester.
